Who we are

The HMX Group [legal entity name, registered address, company number]. Contact: mike@thehmxgroup.com.

What we collect

• The Search: the company website, market, companies and job link you enter. These are used to run your search.
• Requests for the full map: your work email address, together with your search.
• Candidates: the LinkedIn profile link, email address and note you send from the candidates page.

How we use it

To produce your search, to reply to your request, and to discuss roles or hiring with you. We keep a record of the company websites entered in The Search, so we can see which companies have used it and, where relevant, get in touch about hiring. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Where it is kept

Requests and contacts are kept in our customer records system (Attio) and our email (Google Workspace). Searches are run using an AI model provider (Anthropic). The site and its records are hosted by Cloudflare.

How long we keep it

Search records are kept for about 13 months, full-map requests and candidate details for 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Saved maps are kept for 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing mike@thehmxgroup.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
